This amazing show will feature the best Beat Refinery student DJ's from Maryland and Virginia in a live competition. It will be a great afternoon of mixing, scratching, mash-ups and more. Come listen, cheer, dance and show your support for these talented artists!

Rules

All DJs may perform up to 8 minutes; a penalty of 1 point for every 15 seconds over the time limit will be deducted from the DJ's total score.
Every DJ must be present and arrive at their specified time. DJs not present when called will not be able to perform.
There will be one Grand Prize, as well as one 2nd Place, 3^rd Place and 4^th Place prizes awarded.
All competing DJs must be enrolled and in good standing in the B2R Beat Refinery program at the time of both registration and the DJ Battle.
All participating DJs MUST submit a completed registration form by the specified deadlines. No late registrations will be accepted.
No explicit language is to be used in songs. All explicit lyrics must be changed.
Use of explicit language will result in disqualification.
All DJs are expected to follow student conduct rules as outlined in the B2R Policy Handbook.
Order of DJ performances will be picked at random, please do not request a specific time as we cannot accommodate.
DJs are allowed to use their own DJ mixer, headphones, laptop, turntables and/or DJ controllers. DJs may use MIDI based Serato controllers for their performances (ex. Novation Dicers, Pioneer DDJ-SP1, Akai AFX, etc.).
