Bach to Rock Opens 6th School in Herndon Virginia at H.K. Lee Academy of TaeKwonDo


Herndon is the 6th B2R Campus in the Washington Metro Region
Bethesda, Maryland— Jeff Levin, Founder of Bach to Rock, America’s Music School, announced today that the latest Bach to Rock (B2R) school opens in Herndon Virginia on Monday, January 25th with music lessons for students of all ages. H.K. Lee Academy is located at 465 Herndon Parkway, Herndon Virginia. It is important to note that, although this location is especially convenient for H.K. Lee’s students, the new B2R location in Herndon will be open to all members of the community.

The Winter B2r Battle of the Band takes place at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. The 5th edition of the B2R Battle of the Bands brings together more than 280 local students enrolled in B2R’s Jam Program who will showcase their talent and compete to win the contest.

Middle School Band “Pulse” Rocks for a Cure


Concert to Benefit Cancer Research Saturday, December 6th 6pm-8 pm
Bethesda, Maryland, November 12, 2009 – Middle Schooler Josh Bernstein didn’t want a traditional Bar Mitzvah party. Instead, he dreamed up a way to use his big event to benefit cancer research and he enlisted a group of other middle schoolers to help him out. His band, “Pulse,” will present Rock 4 A Cure, a special concert to benefit cancer research, on December 6, 2009 at 6 PM at Potomac Community Center.

B2R Bethesda Hosts Open Houses, Concerts and Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Homeless

Bethesda, Maryland— Free music lessons, acoustic music concert, games and demonstrations are just some of the family activities that are part of the B2R open house at Bethesda Bach to Rock on Friday, November 6 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Families are welcome to try instruments and enjoy B2R student performances.

Band plans bar mitzvah cancer benefit in honor of member's late cousin


Josh Bernstein, 12, of Gaithersburg, is making his bar mitzvah in January and has planned a benefit called "Rock 4 a Cure" to raise money for children in Israel with cancer.
