Jazz Fusion

Jazz Fusion is a great way for kids to learn the basics of jazz and have fun doing it. The ensemble will explore a variety of jazz styles in a small combo setting (bass, keys, drums, guitar, sax). From the basics of the blues to latin jazz, kids will learn to play songs by the jazz masters, including: Blue Bossa (Kenny Dorham), Chameleon (Herbie Hancock), Watermelon Man (Herbie Hancock), Summertime (George Gershwin), Blue Monk (Thelonius Monk) Kids will also have the chance to improvise and solo throughout the course.
